Horse Riding at Burley Manor Riding Stables in the New Forest National Park, England

The New Forest National Park is probably the best area for horse riding in open country in the south of England. There is excellent hacking on heath and through forests with countless different routes and no restrictions. There are numerous paths and trails on dry sandy hills and woods and low boggy valleys. For quiet riding or fast cantering this is a superb region. Some details are given here about the Burley area of the New Forest.

Please note that this is not a final or permanent webpage. It is, at the moment, merely a small trial webpage that will be modified and improved or moved or removed, depending on assessment by Kara, the manager of Burley Manor Riding Stables. If it is accepted more photographs of riding in the New Forest National Park and relevant information will be added progressively. Text and images will be improved. If anyone shown prefers not to be in a photograph present here the image can be removed very quickly - please email the web author.
